In a day when education in the arts is in decline due to budget cuts and lack of federal funding, it gives me great pleasure to see Arkansas Baptist leading the way in pursuit of excellence and education in the performing arts.
Recent studies indicate that students who receive this kind of training are more likely to succeed in school, have more self-esteem, and develop discipline and a love for learning. Arkansas Baptist School System is pleased to offer an extra-curricular Fine Arts program under the direction of Dr. Jon Hynes (Doctor of Musical Arts, Eastman School of Music, 1998). Students of every age and ability are welcome. (Grades 1-12)
